My hope for America is we stop pretending Rs or Ds are going to fix this nightmare. We shouldn't give them a chance to continue pulling off this lesser of two evils charade and just admit that both parties but one doorway to our demise.

My hope for @SenKamalaHarris tonight is that she goes on the offense from the first moment and never ever ever lets up. She shouldn’t give him even one chance to pull off all that wily unctuousness with which he lies so easily for his boss.

You think admitting that means someone then has some higher ground justification for sitting out the election? That presupposes that anyone who is voting is basically too stupid to realize what’s up. And that’s not true at all.

I believe if you sign off on it with your vote, it's on you. I voted for Bush in 2000. Don't doubt that I believe I signed off on all of the horrors he did while representing me/us and regret it deeply. I don't think people are stupid, just conditioned to consent.

Agreeing to disagree is what I do best, hence I'm not an anarchist or violent revolutionary. But granting one's authority comes with a lot of spiritual baggage that none of the ruling class is deserving of me bearing for them. Deep down I suspect you feel the same.
