I agree that at 18 everyone should automatically be registered to vote but I’m fine with it being 18 and over

What If some American citizens don’t want to be registered? Is that okay? Many people are away at college in another state when they turn 18. In WHICH state would they be “automatically registered”? With ideas as immature as this, it’s no wonder you want 16 year olds to vote.🙄

Unfortunately one of the major political parties in our country holds it as a core belief that it should be as hard and inconvenient as possible for Americans to vote.

Since 18 year olds have such good judgment we should let those under 18 vote? Given how much later young people mature these days I’d argue the opposite.

I think that registering to vote is largely about the necessity of being registered for a particular location.
