The entire voter registration phenomenon is unnecessary; every American citizen should just be automatically registered on their 18th birthday (and we should lower the voting age).

I don't think so. Do we think it'll only be advantageous for Democrats? Have you seen the many young Trump supporting kids they were able to file and propagandize, who barely formed a more intelligent understanding of that? Keep it at 18. Encourage more Civics in the schools.

You lost me at lowering the age. We have 21 year olds not competent enough to make a responsible decision about their own finances let alone world affecting policy. Smh

Inclusion = UNITY. Voting should be considered a right rather than a privilege. We need to end the racially motivated voter disenfranchisement of felons and prisoners in all states.

Why lower the voting age? We should probably raise it to say 28.

Does that mean no more party system or primaries? Or you pick that later when and if you're interested. I think you should raise voting age to 21 so maybe the brain will actually be fully developed or do we not follow the science now?

Will there be a penalty, fine or imprisonment if you are automatically registered then don't update your address as t every move? Are you in favor of a National Registration Card to use for Drivers License, SSN, Voter Registration, Medicare, Medicaid, Selective Service etc.

As we do in Australia.
How many adults google each and every name on the ballot?

18 is the right age. The only reason lowering the voting age is even talked about is because Democrats think Trump would have lost 2016 of 16yo could vote. If Clinton won. This wouldn't even be a topic of discussion. It is a knee jerk reaction

I day 16 when they get driver鈥檚 licenses. Develop the habit in high school.
