The entire voter registration phenomenon is unnecessary; every American citizen should just be automatically registered on their 18th birthday (and we should lower the voting age).

Totally agree. But not about lowering the voting age. This is coming from a high school teacher. But there is no logical reason NOT to have every adult automatically added to the voter registration database. That’s a fact.

🌱automatic registration at birth or upon citizenship. 🌱allowed to vote at 16. If you can drive you can vote. 🌱no penalties or fines if released from incarceration.

STFU with this lower the voting age. Kids at 16/17 yrs old make poor decisions. Even 18 year olds make terrible decisions.

What she means by “lower the voting age”, is kids who will be influenced by liberal teachers and vote democrat.

I wouldn’t lower the voting age.

I was with you until lowering the voting age. :)

But how would our two party system be able to practice “legal” voter suppression? Voter registration exists only to suppress the vote. In civilized countries you can vote when you’re 18 automatically. But then again, civilized countries also have Medicare for All... we suck

Agree with the first part, but not the second. Sad for my son though who turns 18 in November, after the election.

abolish political parties and publicly fund elections. end the two party private club- political cliques- that leave so many of us behind. corporations and the wealthy should not dictate the president's policies for the rest of us.
