There's a lot justified outrage that many of us feel now, much of which needs to be expressed. But Covid's no joke in anyone's life & as much as I'm worked up & tweeting like everybody else I'm gong to stop at least once a day to remember we're all just human & to pray for us all

We need to pray everyday instead of being angry.

To whom or what do you pray to, Marianne?

It’s tragic, all of it. Trump belongs back in the hospital. There is no excuse for his actions, but we must be merciful.

Tonight I saw my president defiant although he has covid-19 as he took off his mask, told people to not allow COVID-19 to run their lives, etc. what about all the orphans & deaths? All the sick people? Public rallies that sure seem to spread it?

So true. There’s no point in being outraged. Steroids are known to effect cognitive functioning. Don’t expect things to get saner - he’s been a tumultuous disinformation artist since Day One. Why would that change now?

Last night, I listened to my favorite music, and simply felt what it is to be alive now. Beautiful and frightening, full of grief, sorrow and yet with joy beneath it all. We are collectively so far from our promise & potential but now is also a time in history that we must grow.

Marianne do you follow @FacesOfCOVID ... I like to read the stories. So many dead it helps me to try to remember at least some of them.
