The psychological imperative when living during horrifying times is to ask ourselves who we need to be now in order to transform them. The solutions aren’t coming from outside us; we ourselves are going to have to provide them.

I don't find these times horrifying, but revealing and healing. It's all about perspective. I've shut out the false drama from the media and focus on healing & improving myself and on my life goals. Life is what you make of it.
