Pragmatic solutions are important at times but they often only address symptoms & not their cause. If all we do is address the symptom of a problem it will simply morph into another one. Political conversation needs to expand into a more holistic understanding of how we got here.

It is. Its just not the politicians job to have those conversations. It was never going to be their job. The power to move forward is never with those who stand idly by

"How we got here" is easy: 40 years ago @DNC made the decision to abandon the working-class-friendly policies of FDR and go after donations from the corporations and Wall Street. All downhill since, culminating with Trump's election.

@marwilliamson your totally right. Then explain how you HID my children from me.
"If you stick a knife in my back nine inches and pull it out six inches, there's no progress. If you pull it all the way out that's not progress. Progress is healing the wound that the blow made. And they haven't even pulled the knife out much less heal the wound."-Malcolm X

Trump is a result of the last 50 years of “this is the most pivotal election of our lifetime”! NO real solutions in, welfare, healthcare, prison, drug policy etc. Half measures, pork and placating!! Here we are again! You’re cheerleading ANOTHER round of the same. Frustrating.

Not wrong, but there are multiple industries that have benefited from enabling us to drive ourselves this far down the wrong path. How do we override generations of bad social conditioning?

I remain increasingly grateful for your commitment to bringing a heart centered clarity into politics. I don’t know when you started in this realm, but you are SO needed here. ❤️

We got here by kicking The One True God out of this nation.
