False positivism is when you ignore the bad stuff & just proclaim the good; it’s not transcendence but denial. The darkness of the world must be named. Humanity’s shadow cannot be expunged until it’s brought into consciousness, acknowledged & released - a phase that we’re in now.

If it's the phase we are in now, I'm not so optimistic we will face even a fraction of those shadows. We seem to take it on in waves and it takes forever. It may not be geological time, but from our collective reckoning it might as well be.

To report the good, is not always ignoring the bad, perhaps it’s declaring the fact that you should acknowledge the good we have in USA & that its not as bad as you think, then you may not complain about what you have, cause it’s not so bad after all.
