Because political influence of corporate food manufacturers overrides the influence of the USDA and other agencies that are there theoretically to protect us.

USDA has never protected us. they have approved the sale of chickens with cancer lesions and milk from pus infected udders. it's all about the money. let me know if you want fact checked documentation. raping cows until they are useless, then grinding them up is the norm

I do realize it’s all about profits, but it’s unconscionable to feed and sell people poison. It’s hard to keep believing in people when lately all we see is frankly evil.
