I would love him more if he sold all the church properties for the poor and pay more attentions to human rights issues around the world

He is alright, I like his opinions on economic egalitarianism. But, he is still the head of a very corrupt religious organization. I feel the Catholic institution has inflicted immeasurable trauma, more so than spiritual benevolence in its existence that no lips service can heal.

How low has the bar been set?

"Society must confront the destructive effects of the empire of money." ... Yes ... it's time to go back to a time that never quite existed in this Country ... a time when people's lives and their needs are placed before big money and before big profits.

It would be nice if American Catholics, including the bishops, paid attention to the Pope on this and other human rights issues.

Um. What @Pontifex should do is renounce the #PapalBulls that changed the world into a racist quagmire.

The alternative has been worst in all its shades. This Pope is the antithesis of John Paul II.
