The storm is big but we’re bigger; this chaos is forcing us to become the people we should’ve been anyway, in the presence of whom none of this would’ve happened. So many of us are going to be better because of all this, and in time the country will be too.

Tell that to 200K + dead. My family could have easily been among those dead and we are not safe from the second wave. There is nothing more that we can physically do to protect ourselves. Not when one can get infected at the hospital, cancer center, nursing home.

I remember saying this whole pandemic was a blessing in disguise, which someone reacted angrily too. But it’s true, there is always good that comes out of the chaos. It doesn’t mean devastation & loss isn’t understood/acknowledged. Just that we are open and willing to grow.

We have a collective American ego in this country that has gained in strength since WW2. Until we find our common humility , like many European countries , we will continue to make the mistakes that our attitude of superiority produces . Covid should be the great leveler .

I absolutely agree. It also has made us realize just how many freedoms we’d surrendered to the mob/government, and has been a great reminder as to how our system is supposed to actually work. Hint-Dino’s and rinos are wrong
