As someone who spent two months covering the aftermath of the most widespread riots in at least 50 years, this never-ending fixation with illusory organized "white supremacist" groups couldn't be more absurd. It's 99% a media invention totally disconnected from reality

Yes, a lone white supremacist who’s armed, which is what this report is about, can cause a lot of harm and should be taken seriously as a threat to other individuals. Also, Antifa and BLM have burned downtowns of major American cities all summer. So they’re BOTH A PROBLEM.

So all the experiences I have had are just that people didn't like me for some reason. And it was not the color of my skin.

That's what we pay the FBI to deal with.

Name one riot since May that was started or involved white supremacists. Just one. I'll wait

After what's been revealed in the past week, no reasonable person would trust info from the FBI. Unfortunate, but they did it to themselves.

@marwilliamson that report is talking about lone offenders with "personalized ideology", not an organized group. I don't think that definition would count the Proud Boys, for instance. It's something to be concerned about but it's a fundamentally different issue

the fbi are bad people marianne and forbes has a vested interest in propping them up

It fits the FBI narrative because they have ignored the hard-left Antifa and other groups for a long time. How would they explain this? They don’t. If the riots and destruction and businesses targeted and being destroyed... by right wingers with BLM signs?

Every white ethnic gang is considered to be a white supremacist organization, but black, Hispanic and Asian gangs are considered non-political.
