If you don’t learn about the Bill of Rights as a child, how do you know as an adult to be horrified when it’s under assault?

Aren't you for gun control including confiscation of the single most popular rifle in America? I think the 2nd Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights.

I do not believe a military assault rifle belongs in the hands of the ordinary citizen. I am joined in that belief by many former military chiefs.
