Some of the subjects you have said can be learned from parents and very good teachers or having a summer employment as far as the last well that is to be determined old school politics and old school politicians or a new age politician with a new age ideas.

I support automatic registration, compulsory voting (fines or community service with failure to vote), ranked choice voting, mandatory voting day off for all elections at all levels, early & mail in voting.

Agree and agree, but I’m not sure we can ever “get money out of politics” - money always seems to find ways around obstacles. Rather, we need to make sure that ordinary Americans have enough power to counter the power of money, and to ensure their voices are heard.

America lays claim to “achieving the American Dream”; yet it hasn’t ensured that education covers finances, civics, health, critical thinking. Instead, it’s STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) - necessary to get jobs, and work hard. Real education is more.

We also need to #ExpandTheCourt, grant statehood to DC & Puerto Rico, and pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Money out of politics is our only hope.

In Brazil the presidential term is 6 years, and presidents cannot repeat sequentially. Less campaigns, less need to make compromises for someone’s money. Make the term for reps 3 years for the same reasons.
