We should probably start by admitting that we have a Republic, not a democracy. In a democracy, the majority rules regardless of what is right and fair. In a republic, founding principles guide the rule of law, and everyone can play, and be protected by the same rules...

I see things differently. The US is not & never has been a democracy. Lincoln moved it closer, but the nationalist rightwing & oligarchs prefer the original US. We progressives are fighting to turn the US into a democracy, not restore it to some mythical prior democratic state.

more video uploads. think your 1st debate. it was fun, it was funny, it was exciting, and it was insightful. Trump above all things is a clown. One can be so for ill or for good. We need a good laugh more this year than last, give us the pizazzo we saw last year marianne

Shakespeare added humor, drama, and deep insight all into one show. We want that in a video to go viral, just like the 1st debate last year....... Could effect the general zeitgeist. Humor is medicine, and we need that this hard year. More fun, wild, & inspiring vids
