“Women are by nature manipulative. This is one of the effects of Original Sin on them. The wise husband will factor this into his relationship with his wife, recognizing that much of what she does is insincere.” 🤦🏻‍♀️motherjones.com/politics/202…

Since some don’t like highlighting this particular quote, let’s use her own words “Always keep in mind that your legal career is but a means to an end, and … that end is building the kingdom of God.” So much for separation of church and state.

Many of us, myself included, see our careers as a means to the end of serving God. I don’t criticize her for that especially since she was speaking at a Catholic University. Separation of church & State was not intended to discriminate against religious values.

it was discussed by Jefferson to the Baptists, it was to prevent any official "state religion" and also, to protect the church from the state. thanks for this tweet, btw.

That's wonderful, please keep it up. My intention is not to criticize. This is a job interview where being impartial is a requirement... this statement puts her ability to do that into question. Plenty of Catholics on the court so IMO I think discrimination is a stretch.

I’m confused... are you saying Barrett is being discriminated against or do you think the quote you posted from a past leader of her organization disqualifies her? Maybe I’m misunderstanding your intentions.
Serve "God" like Baal, Baphomet or Moloch? Got it.🙄
