Amy Barrett being Catholic is a good thing; Joe Biden is a Catholic too. Republicans are trying to make it as though the Left is criticizing her Catholicism but it’s not true. It’s the repressive tenets of the “People of Praise” sect she belongs to that are genuinely concerning.

We have a Constitution. That is how the S.C. is to Judge. They are to be non-partisan. Unlike, RBG who was Partisan and even amplified the fact as she was on her death bed. I have always respected her, but it hurt her legacy.
This isn’t about a losing or winning message. The points about me were lies. But tenets of the “People of Peace” as stated by them are anti-Black, anti-LGBTQ and suppressive of the rights of women. Those issues are extremely important in the choice of a Supreme Court justice.
