Amy Barrett being Catholic is a good thing; Joe Biden is a Catholic too. Republicans are trying to make it as though the Left is criticizing her Catholicism but it’s not true. It’s the repressive tenets of the “People of Praise” sect she belongs to that are genuinely concerning.

Before you throw stones read the bible esp. gospels & letters of Paul. Have courage to throw your stones directly at Jesus, who lives at heart of our faith, not followers. Otherwise, passive aggressive. Criticism is weak. Christians easy prey. Jesus a whole different story.

Marianne you can't pick and choose. Either you are talking about her religion or you aren't. Focus on her decisions, her record. Also, focus on what the "opposition party" can practically do to stop her.

You, the queen of sects declaring someone a sect member...?

Marianne, taking a step back - do you think, reflecting on your own experiences, that you are the person that is best placed to be critiquing someone for belonging to a "sect"?

I'm Catholic and I think not less or more of anyone who isn't . I believe as a people of faith , we must always respect others faith in what they believe in . If we lose this common ground of respect , then we have failed as a people and as a country . So being a little of point.

Are you proposing that Ephesians 5:20-32 constitutes a "repressive tenet"? If so, why so? What can it mean for a husband to love his wife as Christ loved the Church? Are not both partners equally called to submit to and dedicate themselves to one another? Is unity repressive?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is going to be replaced by a woman who walked through every door that Ginsburg opened for her so she can promptly use her position to shut them all for others behind her. Sending love from Ireland 🇮🇪

There are already a ton of Catholics on the court already so, it's a problem for me. 23% of Americans are either atheist or agnostic - shouldn't the court reflect that?
