Replying to @ndrew_lawrence
It is NOT the job of law-enforcement officers to “punish evildoers.” To find them and arrest them, perhaps. But it is the job of our legal system whether or not to punish them and how. Using the word God to trash the US Constitution is preposterous politically and theologically.

Romans 13 is an admonition to respect the authority of civil government as a good citizen and also as a warning that authorities do enforce the law. It is stretching the verse to apply it solely to LEO or to cloak them all as carrying out God's will.

What if I were to tell you, and hear me out, that there is no god and that politics and theology are equal constructs of man and that law enforcement is just a way to keep marginalized people down in the hole where a racist socie...you know what fuck it

Thank you. From what I've seen, when someone has no reasonable argument for something they want, they throw "god" in as a blanket justification.

Lol, but yet so republican. GOP is synonymous with hypocrisy
I don't agree with his comments but it does actually say that in Romans. Thats why you have to so some critical thinking when you read that book.
It's not surprising coming from Republican religious frauds For backward selfish reasons they would return to all education eminating from intelligent design Bible schools denying evolution & all science
