If Republicans succeed in putting a justice on SCOTUS who allows them to repeal Roe v. Wade, it will not stop abortions in America. Rich women will continue to have safe ones, and poor women will go back to the days of back alley abortions where many were harmed and many died.

In the event of a repeal, abortion would become a matter for the states. The constitutional sledgehammer has been a disaster for the amity of our politics.

Another reason to vote for Biden along with Democratic Senate candidates, and another reason to get rid of the filibuster. Congress can pass legislation to legalize and regulate it.

Total BS. Rich women don't take 4 months to make up their mind.

Before you jump to conclusions, which is your tendency, you should read Amy Coney Barret's legal opinions on how "judicial precedent" should impact future court rulings. Or, you can just engage in your typical fear mongering based on ignorance of her constitutional position.

Nobody likes abortion. How about we fund sex ed better. Teach men how to partner in the effort, too.

I agree. But I've always felt the argument is too small. Why isn't there free contraception everywhere?Adoptions affordable to provide more kids homes. More food funding to provide for families.Healthcare for all.
Republicans don’t care about repercussions of their choices. They’re wired differently I guess.

It would not make it illegal. Abortion rights would be determined by each state.
