If Republicans succeed in putting a justice on SCOTUS who allows them to repeal Roe v. Wade, it will not stop abortions in America. Rich women will continue to have safe ones, and poor women will go back to the days of back alley abortions where many were harmed and many died.

That's not true in any sense. The decision will only be put back into states hands, instead of being at the federal level. If you want to know about laws that disproportionately affect lower income, how about guns laws or refunding the police.

In 1973 Roe v Wade passed I was 10. I still remember my mom telling how happy she was because women didn't have to stick coat hangers up there. Being 10 I didn't understand. I do now. Also I hope they don't start messing with contraception. Getting rid of planned parenthood.

There's an excellent book although it's fiction about how it was for women before Roe Vs Wade It's Cider House Rules by John Irving Some of the stories he told were based on real women His grandfather was a physician It's very sad

Exactly Marianne. And many were raped by the alleged doctor. 😩 Unbelievable that this is 2020 but the religious right has been preparing for this for 47 years. How do we stop this appointment!!
