This is how a Senator should talk.
We should put a 60% tax on the wealth billionaires accumulated since the pandemic started. That alone would pay for all out-of-pocket medical expenses for every person in America for a year.

Go ahead and tax them but not to accumulate “taxpayer money“ needed for spending on social programs - that’s not how gov spending works and we are all getting tired of ceding the terms of this “pay for” debate to the other side no matter how well meaning the sentiment.

Insurance speak: "out-of-pocket medical expenses." About 87% of the Democratic party supports M4A, yet Markey is still speaking the language that normalizes private insurance parasites. I respectfully disagree: Markey sounds like someone who has already took M4A off the table.

We should just start a UBI. This alone would pay for a lot of expenses--be them medical or otherwise.

The US should default China’s debt and with that pay for the unemployment after they lied about the virus.

We should tax @marwilliamson at whatever percentage we want just because. Should I DM you to get some book cash or speaking fees cash?

Our Gov't should tax anyone making over $1M a year at a high tax rate (60%) for 3 years to cover pandemic costs for the country.
