Just as there’s a special criminal category for violent assault that’s an expression of bigotry (hate crime), there should be a special category for violent assault (such as driving car into a crowd of protestors) that’s intended as a direct effort to suppress peaceable assembly.

Did you see the video yet of the white Prius? In a situation like that I honestly don’t know what someone is is supposed to do. Their car was swarmed. Very dangerous situation. Safer for protestors to stick to the sidewalk.

And better for cars to stick to another street.

As long asI keep seeing videos like this- I WILL keep telling myself and anyone else listening
So the mob blocks the streets in LA, driver drives through pretty carefully with strobe flashing, the mob chases after him in multiple vehicles, box driver in, beat him, smash his car, driver escapes before they pull him out and police arrest the driver?!

Like the guy in Portland who was dragged from his car and beaten unconscious for stopping to help a trans person the mob had just beat and robbed? google.com/amp/s/www.oregonl…

These crowds have no right to threaten and/or hurt random drivers for using public roads that were designed for their vehicles. They have rights and a mob should not be able to take those rights by force. It's barbaric and wrong.
That's exactly whats happening! If these fools want to lay down in the streets we should treat them as speed bumps!
