Just as there’s a special criminal category for violent assault that’s an expression of bigotry (hate crime), there should be a special category for violent assault (such as driving car into a crowd of protestors) that’s intended as a direct effort to suppress peaceable assembly.

So he is supposed to figure it all out from a block away? He got to the intersection, the crowd was in the street, he slowly drove through a gap in the crowd and they attacked him.
The white Prius didn’t drive over anybody. Hard to say what was going on in the truck video because it lacks context.
I think it is impossible to judge the actions of the truck driver without more context. Many of the protesters do seem to attack people’s vehicles without cause.
I’m curious - what do you think of the white Prius video? To me, the driver looked like he was trying to drive very slow and carefully until they started chasing him.

Do you think there is a less aggressive way for them to get through the crowd milling about? To me, I think it is more likely to run someone over by reversing out of it due to decreased awareness.
No she hasn't. She's been an intelligent voice on the side of peace for decades.
Why are they driving in the middle of a protest FFS?
It was a well publicized protest in Hollywood - he wasn't just trying to get home - you're lying, just like the source.
