Heya, Marianne. Do you support legalizing all drugs (or at the very least decriminalizing all)? I'd really love to hear about it from you. 🙏

There is an epidemic of opioid overdoses in my city, and I've had numerous teenage clients whose psychosis coincided with heavy weed use. But yes, let's do the cool liberal thing and legalize the use of more poisonous toxins.

The war on drugs was a big mistake ... anyone addicted to anything needs help ... not a jail cell ... and we would save billions of dollars that currently goes to a privatized ... for profit ... prison system!

The problem with ending 'the war' on drugs is our massively disruptive and costly substance abuse pandemic, which seems to be growing exponentially. Do you think ending policing of drug sales would cause an explosion in addicts? I suspect it would.

Just because you aren’t arrested, doesn’t mean you are good.

You'd have to start systemic racism in order to end it.
