One of the most broken things about America’s collective psyche is our acquiescence to a systemic neglect of the needs of our children. With no financial or political leverage of their own, they have no way to advocate for themselves. It’s an area where we must begin to step up.

The best way to address the needs of the children is to address the needs of the parents, including the strengthening of marriages and the assurances that children are most welcome in our homes and in our society.
