What does it matter that the 1st amendment gives us “freedom to peaceably assemble” if anytime they want to the police have a right to tell peaceful protesters they “must now disperse?” Because inconveniences you?? Inconveniencing you is the only way people feel they can be heard

what's your thoughts on Antifa? And the ones not peacefully protesting? What should the cops do then?

Why do the police even show up? Covered in body armor and shields. Wielding bats, clubs and guns but no badges. To “clear” areas and enforce arbitrary curfews? They show up to oppress, by any means necessary, those that would question their supremacy.

I think it’s when violent agitators co-mingle with the peaceful protestors, the police can’t distinguish from within a crowd. So they employ crowd control, which agitates the already-violent AND victimizes the peaceful, and things escalate. Better organizing can mitigate this.

1st Amendment is an illusion. It didn’t exist for Blacks & Indigenous when it was created. Matter of fact the Founding Fathers killed Indigenous ppl for trying to protest their land being stolen and their ppl being herded onto Reservations.

You sound more like an agent of evil than you do of love! What say you about the blatant violence that has taken hold of the "peaceful" protestors??? You think that is the way to be heard! Get a grip Marianne...turn back to God where you supposedly started!
