What does it matter that the 1st amendment gives us “freedom to peaceably assemble” if anytime they want to the police have a right to tell peaceful protesters they “must now disperse?” Because inconveniences you?? Inconveniencing you is the only way people feel they can be heard

These local ordinances are blatantly unconstitutional, yet rarely get challenged in court? The Police don't just tell protesters to "disperse", they usually followup with a little pepper spray & a beating.

#PORTLAND: someone just threw a Molotov at Portland Police as officers moved in and declared the event an riot. #PortlandProtests #pdxprotest

It's interesting how the same people who want limits on protests and voting, want all laws removed that limit the 2A. All 3 are constitutionally protected rights! You can't have it both ways.

Judge Dredd would be more reasonable. These corny police officers act like they own the place. I’ve been watching events from Scotland. Something fishy is going on. I’ll take further notes. Let Gods justice prevail. In time account will be upheld, karma balance, Grace endure❤️✝️

Wrong. 1st...peaceably assemble to redress grievances. Public streets are not places of government. Nor do represenative officials hold office at 9pm.

Has anyone seen police stop and disrupt PEACEFUL protests? I havent. I've seen them stand by and respond when things are violent. Can someone show me where the peaceful protests are innocently standing by and police are just attacking for no reason? I honestly havent seen it

Criminal activity is not peacefully assembling. Come on man you know the thing.
