What does it matter that the 1st amendment gives us “freedom to peaceably assemble” if anytime they want to the police have a right to tell peaceful protesters they “must now disperse?” Because inconveniences you?? Inconveniencing you is the only way people feel they can be heard

Have you been to Seattle or Portland? What percentage morph into riots n destruction? How many lives have been ruined because of the protests? The news won't or care about that!

Definition of a peaceful protest is not having a confrontation with the police or president Trump supporters. It also doesn’t mean to bring weapons or anything to cause harm to others. Also it doesn’t meant to loot and destroy private business and property .

Or they could just join the media and become professional propagandists. Too many do, and I think that's the real problem.

You have led a charmed innocent, ignorant life. Curfew is used when trouble is expected. 1 st amendment doesn't mean anything goes. Peaceful protest and rioting are not the same. Rioting removes/ reduces rights, by design. It can not exist in a "working" , functional democracy.

Black Lives Matter activists racially abuse black police officer in Los Angeles. This is the face of civility against anarchy. nitter.vloup.ch/TomasMorales_iv/…

The keyword there is peacefully. What’s the protest are no longer peaceful, the cops can do what they need to do.

Law abiding people don’t want to be inconvenienced by having their cities looted and destroyed. We can hear you without being assaulted.
