Speaking to Uber driver in Houston I asked if he was voting for Trump. He said he thought he would “but I know he shouldn’t tweet or say those things.” I said “The problem isn’t just that he tweets or says those things. The problem is that he means them.” I could tell he heard me

I assure you, if he actually planned to vote for Trump, he still does. As a FT Uber driver, I've had many convos about the election/COVID/blm. I try to read the room B4 giving my opinions. Unfortunately, too often I've misread the room and ended with a low rating from the rider

There are other politicians that don’t say those things but approve to bomb foreign countries. How do you explain that to me that I am not voting Rep or Dem this time!

The real problem is the hate that is thrown at them. It’s never going to get better this way.✌️

Yes ... Trump does mean what he says and what he tweets ... he's is a danger to this democracy ... to this country ... and to this world ... We need to fight ... organize ... and most importantly ... we need to Vote him out of office!

Trump didn't create the self esteem problem in the US, the emotional trauma issues, the addiction issues, the fatherlessness issues, the zero morals issues, the no value for human life issues, it's not all about Trump..and Biden is no better. As he's been apart of the creation

I wish I was your Uber driver! 💕 Really hope the guy heard you, but I think the problem w/ ppl who say that is, they think it's OK for trump to believe those things, just as long as he keeps it to himself. And, they won't NOT vote for him just bc he has a loose twitter finger.

Why people don't get or want to accept that "the words of the President matter" ... I just don't understand. Such a disconnect there. Or, they understand it but ignore that all because they get what they want (pro-life, tax cuts, etc).

Trump probably has a silent majority.
