Just to remind everyone: when RBG was asked how many women she’d like to see on the Supreme Court, her answer was “Nine.” She said there had been a SCOTUS with all men all those years and no one had seemed to mind.

I hope that you help motivate your followers with action and $'s to push for all Dem candidates to make sure we take back the Senate and other down ballot seats. Remind them all the justice is on the line, Women, LGBT, & individual rights over corp. rights are on the line

Also a reminder: When it was suggested RBG retire so her replacement wouldn't be a conservative appointed by a Republican, she refused because she wanted to match the tenure of another Justice, Louis Brandeis' 23 years. Quite the gamble imo.

I'm going to have to disagree with her, because it probably wasn't right when it was all men, so by the same logic it wouldn't be right to have all female. 2 wrongs don't make a right. I think u need at least one of either sex.

A Jewish teaching says those who die just before the Jewish new year are the ones God has held back until the last moment bc they were needed most & were the most righteous. And so it was that #RBG died as the sun was setting last night marking the beginning of RoshHashanah
We need more corporate women lawyers on the court

We should have the fairest justices on the court no matter the gender.
