Just to remind everyone: when RBG was asked how many women she’d like to see on the Supreme Court, her answer was “Nine.” She said there had been a SCOTUS with all men all those years and no one had seemed to mind.

I love RBG so much, my SPED class had to listen to how a brilliant, courageous, strong woman of tiny stature challenged the Constitution at the Supreme Court level and won. Her supportive husband knew she had a mind. The Supreme Court came to the same conclusion.

I think most are missing the point of her statement. The point was that no one minded when there were nine men, so why not nine women. I dont believe she was suggesting that anyone be appointed that isn't qualified.
