RBG died in the shadow of Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year & beginning of 10 Days of Awe leading up to the Holy of Holies. This was the passing of a great soul, not just a great American. Reflections on her death & on the meaning of her life will carry great power in the days ahead

I have been deeply moved by RBG's death on the eve of the high holidays. I have felt Hashem's breath on my ears in a way that's renewed my hope that the American people will begin walking a righteous path of justice in this new year.
