RBG died in the shadow of Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year & beginning of 10 Days of Awe leading up to the Holy of Holies. This was the passing of a great soul, not just a great American. Reflections on her death & on the meaning of her life will carry great power in the days ahead

It really feels like it. She is an icon and her passing seems to be having a powerful effect on people, as well as the sadness.

Chills and tears at how great this woman was on the bench. A tiny quiet woman changed the discrimination laws against woman single handedly. She was so bright she married a man who respected her Mind.
