If the story of unnecessary hysterectomies at ICE detention centers is true, then whoever ordered them - and whoever performed them - should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. That's not just state-sponsored crime; it's state-sponsored evil. forbes.com/sites/danielcassa…

Be nice to know when that policy went into affect. How far back does it go?

Watching @maddow's report on this as I type. My instinct is *one* aspect (not all of it) is an insidious, hidden agenda to try and stop a certain ethnicity from reproducing. This reeks of white power and white fear of whiteness being eradicated.

This story is ludicrous. It reaches a stupidity level almost equal to that of Covid anxiety. It will be interesting to see, eventually, what tiny kernel of fact lay at the center of multiple layers of delusional political fantasy. My guess: several patients who needed surgery.

Mahendra Amin, the doctor who performed the hysterectomies for ICE, is affiliated with Coffee Regional Medical Center and Irwin County Hospital in Georgia. He needs his license pulled and he needs to be tried for these crimes. #AbolishICE
Too bad no one will do anything about it, and it will be forgotten in the chaos of the next news cycle. 💔💔💔
