We need to transition to new types of social media that build upon a conversation rather than a single comment lost in 24 hours. Twitter is not built to be constructively iterative, it is not built to help improve humanity, it’s built to burn energy yelling at the wind.

These are companies, that’s all they are. They were formed and continue to exist through support. So many issues revolve around companies and therefore can be solved very simply by all of us with little effort and no need for time and energy like this: you just stop using them.
