Those who say it’s hyperbolic to call Trump’s words & actions fascistic should perhaps read up on the history of Germany in the 20’s & 30’s - particularly the part where people said he was just joking, or he didn’t really mean it, or the country was strong enough to withstand it.

The cunning & calculation he’s used since before his election astounds me. Not that he’s doing it, but that people believe him. And the ones that question, remain silent. That’s the danger. We gave him power & unless we vote in enormous numbers, America has no idea what’s coming.

No it’s hyperbolic. Define Fascism for starters and then maybe I’d believe you. Trump is not nice or good but he isn’t consolidating power into the hands of the national government (at least not any more than his predecessors).

Truth! I feel Trump is equally dangerous. He already has ultimate power, has a huge nuclear arsenal and his hands on our money. His psychopathic handling of Covid has claimed almost 200000 lives and simply doesn't care. Not hyperbolic at all!

So if he’s a fascist, what does that make the Democratic Party? A party that gives a fascist leader a record military budget, unlimited spying power by extending the Patriot Act? One that votes to accelerate a fascist’s judges? One that elevated him as the “pied piper” candidate?
