“The president’s authority is total. And that’s the way it’s gotta be.” -Donald Trump. No that is NOT the way it’s gotta be or is supposed to be. We have a president, not a king or dictator. And we have three coequal branches of govt. It’s horrifying how many have forgotten that

He has clearly by now run into the limits of presidential power. It's interesting the degree to which, even given the opportunity, he has not stepped into overreach (and has been criticized for not doing enough). His bark is for the most part much worse than his bite.

This is true. Our government is fundamentally flawed. Trump needs to be removed from office and the executive branch needs have its power curtailed. The Electoral College needs to be axed, private money needs to be removed from campaign finances, etc,

Disappointed you have become a DNC mouthpiece. The people need your voice of clarity that remains above the partisan corruption. A macro perspective illudes most of us. Please choose not to succumb to the muck.

Trump has the top level of power in the US i disagree that we dont have a king or a dictator. Not all of us want one, i dont, but hes there and he acts like it. Most our other top leaders are letting him get away with it, and the ones who try to fight are losing

If you haven’t noticed, since 2016 the 3 ‘co-equal’ branches have been replaced by:

Separate but equal branches. Checks and balances. No the president is not a total authority despite the Constitutionally confused assertions otherwise.
