500,000 homeless & the number is growing; hunger is overwhelming food banks. Combined net worth of 400 richest Americans is $2.9 trillion. There are 621 billionaires (a record high). You’d think they could .. oh I don’t know ..start a fund or something...since we hardly tax them?

We can't even audit the intelligence agencies and Pentagon for missing trillions. Cynthia McKinney tried and was railroaded out of Congress. Flynn was going to audit the intel agencies and then Russiagate started to prevent him. Connect the dots, Marianne!

I assume there is a certain psychosis that comes with, or derived from, garnering that much wealth and power. I imagine that you begin to see everyone as a threat looking to take you down or take your wealth; knowing the lengths you yourself went to obtain that wealth and power.

If I were a billionaire I'd keep 1 billion for myself and house and rehabilitate the homeless. When you are that rich, you can always just make more money... why not help people who are suffering?

I think the saddest thing on Earth is that we have everything we need to help all people and sentient beings; yet we don't. So we continue to play our small roles and crimes and label ourselves victims.

Bllionaires start funds all the time! Their philanthropic contributions probably create jobs for a few hundred PR people every year.

You’re not going to fix homelessness unless you do something about their mental health issues and be willing to restrict their liberty if necessary.

According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, or HUD, it would cost $20 billion to end homelessness. That's less than half of what we spend each year on weight loss and self-improvement. Jan 2, 2013 Less than Jeff Bezos made last month.

You tax them, but then the Republicans defunded the IRS so they target the poor instead. And taxing them doesn't mean they PAY. Canada is only a little better due to healthcare. No countries with homelessness, poverty and hunger so rampant can call themselves decent societies.
