Yea, but that's not true by any stretch not the imagination. We have taken many steps against CV19 and btw it's deadly in a very small % of cases. We pay big $ to fight homelessness and hunger and do a lot to quell suffering.

And the US is the target of many nations and splinter groups who either envy or loathe our freedoms and way of life. If you are not prepared, they have the upper hand and then the US is gone. A beacon of freedom and hope in a dangerous world.

Its possible that we're just seeing people's true colors. I'm faithful, optimistic and confident in the future but a lot of the people and ideas we're seeing manifest may just very well be the past having its last hurrah Ignorance, selfishness, ineptitude, laziness, faltering

I support national defense (*defense* not offense) but the bedrock of any national defense is a strong and healthy population. Apparently the establishment thinks it can starve the people and run a push-button war.

If by “we” you mean the people, I disagree. If by “we” you mean the moneyed interests who have “their people” in elected office advancing agendas that funnel wealth & power to those interests while destroying the working class, the environment, & the economy, then I do agree.
