The question should not be “what it will cost us” to provide Medicare4All, college tuition, college loan debt cancellation etc. The question should be how much it has already cost us as a society that so many Americans live lives of chronic economic despair.

It is not Jan's responsibility to labor to ensure that Bob isn't sad. Nothing prevents anyone who wants from pooling resources to ensure economic viability to anyone they wish. I encourage it. But I will not condone forced contribution according to someone else's values.

I would say economic despair has to do more with lacking the necessary drive to get a job and work hard, setup a budget and plan and save for hardships that come along from time to time. “Equality” is about equal opportunity to get ahead not equal guarantee to do so. Capice?
All of that and back taxes. I made mistakes in my 20’s that I can’t bankrupt from. It’s a giant debt to me that is a wedding for even moderately wealthy folk. I’ll die with this burden otherwise.

Congress has the power to create money without borrowing. Or can borrow from the Fed. There's plenty of money available to do anything the government chooses. It is a choice not to invest in national healthcare, education, housing, etc. Free market predatory capitalism rules.

It's incredible to think how far along we could be as a society if every person actually had access to make something of their lives and contribute to their community.

Beyond despair! Some commit suicide, some stop seeking medical attention and succumb to their illness. Some go very deep in to debt, and lose everything, even generationally.

Medicare4all.... no thanks. College tuition.... stop federally guaranteeing the loans and this problem would be over.

Unfortunately we live in a world that always reject the ones who could teach and helped us the most. I believed in you, and wish more people did. A mean, the reject Christ and choose Barrabas for Christ sake. They always do it to the great leaders and teachers. Why?
