Neither Medicare4All, free tuition at state colleges and universities, cancellation of college loan debt nor the Green New Deal are radical propositions. They are simply a realignment of public policy with an effort to help people thrive. What’s radical is the opposition to them.

Medicare4all is a big jump to do all at once. Has anyone suggested going down 5 to 10 years ar a time every 2 years to help ease the transition? I think it is something both sides would consider.

They are not. They are full tilt marxism and socialism (both of which are incredibly evil). Nothing is "free." Something is either earned or stolen and given to someone else. The latter is what the vast majority of Americans are sadly comfortable with.

What I find extremely odd is everything you list would be of huge benefit to a properly functioning capitalist society yet, the so called capitalists are against these initiatives. They are not capitalists. Truth is, it’s just the privileged trying to hold on to their privileges.

The Trump Campaign wants to get the message out there that Biden is a Liberal. Duh! Then they will be campaigning FOR Biden. Of course he’s a Liberal and this is not extremist.

And that wish list ... is what most European democracies already have ... as Marianne has already said ... these are not radical ideas ... in Europe ... they are mainstream ideas!

In theory all these ideas sound great, right? Alas, they are fraught with serious problems that we will never overcome on the federal level. Such "one size fits all" programs are unworkable bureaucratic nightmares. After Trump and McConnell are out, look out!
