Neither Medicare4All, free tuition at state colleges and universities, cancellation of college loan debt nor the Green New Deal are radical propositions. They are simply a realignment of public policy with an effort to help people thrive. What’s radical is the opposition to them.

The Iranian regime said the same and made the same promises when they took over. Same with Venezuela and Cuba. You’re not fooling anyone with a single functioning brain cells who believes in working hard.

The Green New Deal is so vague. Do you mean the Resolution that AOC introduced in Congress that allowed fracking and nuclear and that effectively ended the chances that the OFF Act which she had previously pledged to support if elected to the Congress would be passed?

The problem is the economic system that must exist to pay for it. It’s a beautiful idea but ask Venezuela. It took less than 12 years to destroy their country. Yes food is free but the stores are empty. Yes healthcare is free but the doctors fled and no medicine.

M4A will finally become law of the land only after we've successfully demonized the Health Insurance Industry as THE MAFIA in eyes of the public. 100% justified. Only then will politicians find the courage to walk away from the bribe money they're offered: medium.com/@jamesjkroeger/th…

Radically deranged. People organize in societies in order to make possible what can't be done individually. Those right wing cretins who attempt to block social advancement +high thriving making public advancement goals possible have to be cast aside. Support #SDG17 @sunrisemvmt

One thing I know for sure is that none of that is available through the neoliberal Democratic Party, at least not in any time frame commensurate with the urgency. @ChrisLynnHedges was 100% correct that the way forward is through the Green Party 2020 & Greens/MPP going forward.

Fruit trees go for $100 from nurseries. You throw away many fruit tree seeds per year. From the time a child is born, till the time they graduate high school, you have plenty of time to grow fruit trees to pay for college, medical expenses, a new car & house for your children

Blanket canceling of student loan debt is fundamentally regressive. The money used to do so goes disproportionately to higher income brackets, not to mention people too poor to have attended school get nothing. $1.4 trillion should go to begin Universal Basic Income.
