1/ While #BLM is the largest protest movement in history of the US, Congress has not responded to it with even one piece of legislation. That’s how unresponsive Congress is to the voices of the people.

2/ That’s why the most powerful direct action at this point (not instead of but in addition to others) is marching to the voting booth. Has the system been corrupted? Yes - but don’t let it be corrupted further by not using it at all. Friends don’t let friends not vote. #Nov3rd

The difficult thing about voting is that in Kentucky there won't be many candidates on the ballot I can choose. Ms. Williamson, I wish you had endorsed Charles Booker instead of the other candidate in KYs primary US Senate race. The progressive vote got split.

None of the candidates have anything to offer. At best Biden promises to make things worse slower. I'm sorry, but I'm sitting this one out.

I live in NY. My mail in primary ballot was one of the 100k that was not counted after the dems tried to cancel the primary TWICE. If the dems are too incompetent to win NY w/ out my vote thats not my fucking problem. I refuse 2 participate in this bullshit democracy theater sham

So you admit the politicians have failed us, admit that the system is corrupt, then go on to tell us voting in the admittedly corrupt system is somehow going to fix shit? Gtfoh with that garbage.

I’m confused — how does our participation matter if we’re operating within a corrupt system?

That’s not what direct action means.
