People who say “all you need is a change in consciousness” are privileged enough to have food on the table & a roof over their head; people who think all we need is political change underestimate the psychological & emotional forces that are roiling beneath the surface of things

So you’d assess Biden is sort of a break, a pause on the new usual? In some ways, I’d have to admit that. But I don’t think Biden eliminates our challenge; just comes with a different set. So what do we do if that happens? How do we deal with pushback from Corporatist Democrats?

I am so traumatized by Biden’s embrace and promotion of Rick Snyder’s endorsement. I thought I might be able to hold my nose and vote for Biden. But the children have lead poisoning forever.

Basic Maslow until our lower needs are met our higher ones cannot be; eg a hungry child or a child w/o safe housing cannot learn in school—some can forgo the lower for the higher but generally they have the option at some level eg starving artist

Been asking this for a long time. I have to remind myself everyday that thousands of people blindly followed the cult leader Jim Jones and committed suicide by drinking poison on his directions. It's not any different with Trump or Hitler. #OrangeJimJones @ProjectLincoln
