We have the means to reverse climate change, to wage peace, and to create an economically and criminally just society. What we lack is the willingness on the part of enough people to dedicate ourselves to the work it will take to override the institutional resistance to doing so.

Too many people think there is nothing we can do, most knowing its broken. That should pull some anger out of them for the courage down inside to rage against the dying of the light. I believe we could have could have this swing town way of life soon. leoburg9.com/2019/06/23/numb…

#ExpandTheSquad, and wage love via the 5th estate to be just as influential or more than the 4th. If 29% of the people demand it we will have all that tomorrow.

might some of that resistance to ending the perpetual foreign wars (particularly in the M.E.) be some part of the reason so many are unhinged by Trump? Is there something to the saying: "if you're taking a lot of flak, you must be over the target?"

We have had the means for 50 years. It’s as you say about conviction being a force multiplier. At our best we have the imagination necessary to see a better world. We need the courage to demand that it happen - and to work to make it happen.

It's not institutional resistance as in "If only the Democrats could be more like they were back in the good old FDR days". These are COMPLICATED problems that cannot be solved with a little more "democratic socialist" kumbaya. They are karmic, and some karma needs to play out.
