As I spend time in Maine, I’m noticing many confederate flags on properties and cars. To be clear, the confederacy was alive for 5 years, and their pursuit was to keep slavery legal in the US—and they lost. It seems many people with confederate flags don’t seem to know this.

I grew up in Missouri, which was considered a 'border' state during the Civil War. But my education took a decidedly Southern revisionist spin. My 8th grade history teacher during the 70s said slavery was not the issue and insisted on calling it 'The War Between the States'.
You “think”? Ever visited? Ever been here an actually seen a confederate flag? My money is on “no”. So until you actually visit this great state, stick to your ouija board and feelings and stop talking about ME as if you have a clue.
