Only in a totalitarian society do we all have to agree with each other! No one has a monopoly on truth. We should always be willing to assume maybe someone else knows something that we don’t know, and at the very least isn’t a bad person just because they don’t agree with us.

I disagree with this because being factually wrong has consequences like people who are going to Trump events without masks and got COVID-19 as a result, due to politicians being wrong.

lol, respect and all, but i dunno if that's always true. i don't think i'm obligated to respect someone with horrific beliefs substantiated by made up bullshit and beyond that, i don't think it even has utility much of the time. humiliating them might be more effective.
