Only in a totalitarian society do we all have to agree with each other! No one has a monopoly on truth. We should always be willing to assume maybe someone else knows something that we don’t know, and at the very least isn’t a bad person just because they don’t agree with us.

We can't really afford anymore fakers pretending to be for the lower classes while promoting the state's propaganda. There's been too much of that.

Anyone who believes in the 1st Am should be focused on the most consequential case in 100 yrs: the prosecution of Julian Assange. His extradition hearing began today. If the US succeeds in it’s efforts, there will be no more 1st Am.

This is part of the problem we're having right now. No one is *listening.* It's just "I'm right. You're wrong. My heels are dug in and you're not going to make me change my mind." It's hard to hate someone you truly understand. If only we would *talk with each other.*

For those who strongly support a cause or a policy, but don't understand how they can still see their opponents as human beings like themselves, John Lewis in his book "Across that Bridge" shows us why that moral perspective is necessary for real social change.

Yeah, just because someone believes in national healthcare, Peace, empathy, kindness, mercy, justice, Care of the planet, taxing the hell out of the richboys, doesn't mean they have to espouse gay marriage.
