Some on the right act as tho America has never done anything wrong & some on the left act as tho America has never done anything right. But they’re both wrong. It’s seeing that our history is a combination of the 2 that gives us the insight needed to fundamentally course-correct.

Nothing America has done that is right has come without great wrongs as well let alone have they come close to making up for its founding evils. And we know you are honest about those but that’s exactly why some of us are ticked off right now.

Ok I’ll compromise to believing the US has only done 99% wrong. Most of the things people think we have done that are “good” are really just ceasing to do bad things, which isn’t actually good.
